What Paralysis Taught Me: The Three Pillars of Unstoppable Progress
Amy turned adversity into a masterclass in adaptability, discovering the power of improv, the vital role of nutrition, and an unshakable sense of purpose. In this inspiring session, she reveals the three essential keys that helped her—and can help you—navigate any obstacle, fuel lasting energy, and keep moving forward no matter the odds.
Her journey has been…complicated. But through it all she found a way to keep moving forward.
Her current journey started December 22, 2004 with an injury to her left arm. By November 6, 2008 her arms became temporarily paralyzed and opened a new chapter in her life.
Along the way, she learned improv and discovered how food impacted her health.
In this keynote, she gives the three keys to help others move forward despite the odds.
1. Resilience: Learn to treat every setback as a chance to improvise, experiment, and re‑frame the problem.
2. Purpose: Not all purpose needs to be grandiose. This is about finding purpose in our day-to-day.
3. Re-framing: Cultivate a personal “why” that keeps you moving forward even when the odds stack against you.
